DEPARTMENT OF AVIONICS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

The Department of Avionics and Control Systems is a unit of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of Rzeszów University of Technology. It deals with avionics and aircraft control systems. It works on automatic or remote control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles and ground flight control stations. In addition to profiled research laboratories, it also has the Avionics Equipment Certification Laboratory and the Laboratory for the Assessment of Occupational Predispositions for pilots. It has at its disposal professional equipment for the design, construction and testing of avionics and control systems. The knowledge and gained scientific experience are passed on to students mainly from aviation-related courses in the didactic process.

 

The activities of the Department of Avionics and Control Systems include:

Didactic activity related to the didactic process of education in aviation faculties conducted at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics of Rzeszów University of Technology. The area of ​​education covers issues in the field of: measuring instruments, navigation instruments, digital instruments and techniques, IT, electronics, teletransmission systems, control systems, automation and drive systems.

Scientific activity related to research in the area of ​​the Department's profile. It consists in the implementation of research projects, development grants, target grants and cooperation with other centers in the country and abroad

Publishing activity consisting in the publication of research and the results of work in trade journals and their presentation at industry conferences in the country and abroad,

Additional activity consisting in organizing educational trips for students, expanding knowledge in the field of aviation, developing cooperation with foreign centers and promoting the University as a thriving teaching and research center.
