The laboratory is used to conduct classes for students of:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Transport
The laboratory houses experimental stations used in the laboratory classes of Automation in the above-mentioned fields of study.
- Examples of laboratory stations:
- Station for experimental research and determination of static and dynamic characteristics, e.g. mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems,
- The station is equipped with PLC controllers with programming interfaces,
- Liquid level control station,
- UAR modeling and simulation stations,
- Personal PCs under the supervision of the Microsoft Windows operating system, connected to high-speed Internet operating within the university network
The above-mentioned computers at the workstations use licensed software:
- Mathworks MATLAB / Simulink (for UAR synthesis and analysis)
- SciLab / Xcos, (for UAR synthesis and analysis)
- PLC driver software
