Interactive laboratories and simulators

Flight simulator (motion) (VD-26 Classroom) | Flight simulator (stationary) (VD Classroom)

  • These are FNTP II flight simulators and one is BITD class. Both simulators enable the simulation of SEP, MEP and JET class airplanes.
  • These simulators allow to study pilots’ reactions, assess the professional qualifications of operators, test their divided attention etc.

ALSIM flight simulator (Aviation Training Centre)

  • The flight simulator allows to simulate SEP, MEP and JET class airplanes.

  • The simulator allows to study pilots’ reactions, assess the professional qualifications of operators, test their divided attention etc.

  • An important feature of the simulator is the ability to perform simulations in the MCC mode.

Part Task Trainers (VD-25 Classroom)

Part Task Trainers are equipped with built-in Garmin glass cockpits and they allow for training in the use of radio and navigation devices during a simulated flight.

Flight test laboratory - MP-02 “Czajka” Aeroplane (Aviation Training Centre)

Cantilever high-wing monoplane with the T-type tail unit. Fixed tricycle undercarriage with steerable nose wheel.

  • Crew: 2 (Pilot + passenger)
  • Construction: carbon-polymer laminate
  • Span: 9.72 m
  • Width: 1.215 m
  • Propulsion: Rotax 912 ULS engine

This ultra-light aeroplane is adapted and enables flight tests of the developed avionics devices and solutions.

  • It was equipped with a research control and navigation system developed under the LOT project.

For many years, it has been playing a helpful role in the department in research conducted with the use of experimental devices and measurement and navigation systems under development.
